Welcome to Partera Midwifery! Pamela Echeverio, CPM, LDM and Monica Wood, CPM both trained at Birthingway College of Midwifery in Portland, Oregon and share a love of woman and family centered birthing. We are an out-of-hospital midwifery practice offering home birth, water birth and birth center births. We provide well women care, pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum care for mom and baby, including breastfeeding support. Partera postpartum care also includes an additional six month visit to discuss your family’s adjustment, any concerns you may be having and offer a pelvic floor evaluation.
We believe that birth is a natural process, and we trust the wisdom of women's bodies to birth their babies in their own unique ways. Our goal is to support mothers and their families throughout their pregnancy , birth, and postpartum. We hope to facilitate a birth experience that is fulfilling, empowering, and meets the unique needs of individual women and families.
